Carrigaline Women’s Circle
(Formally Women Supporting Women)
To reach out and involve women living within the community of any age and background, so as to socially include them and integrate them within our local community. Connecting likeminded women of different age groups, network and maybe get involved within their community groups.
With the age of technology, we are very much connected digitally to people we already know, but within our local surroundings might not have the time or confidence to talk to our neighbours. With people so busy in today’s society, isolation can be a huge issue for new and old residences in the area. Women are the main home careers within society and usually the parent to stay at home to take care of the home and family. Carrigaline Womens Circle is a gathering of like-minded women, looking for social interaction, whether it’s around networking or learning a new hobby, or finding volunteer opportunities and other ways to give back to the community.
This group affords an opportunity to feel included in the community if you don’t feel you are already, know what is going on in their area by talking to other local women in the area. Listening, supporting, giving feedback, offering suggestions and advice. We will be bringing in a variety of guest speakers to each monthly get-together and introduce new and fun interactive classes.
Carrigaline Womens Circle usually meets every fortnight and is great for getting to know new people!
